Board: The communal table cards.
Blind Bet: A "blind bet" is a required to be taken prior to cards being dealt, and is made as an alternative to and Ante. The 2 players seated beside the dealer to the left will post the blind bet. The player directely next to the dealer on the left will place the "Small Blind", while the player to the left of the player who placed the small blind will place the “Big Blind”
Flop: The opening 3 dealt communal cards.
Hole Cards: The 2 face-down cards dealt to each player (also known as "pocket" cards)
Turn: The 4th dealt communal card.
River: The 5th, and final dealt communal card.
Puck/buck/button: A moving disc which points out the Dealer, and rotates in a clockwise direction.
