Blind Bet: A "Blind Bet" is placed prior to the dealing of any cards and is a forced bet made by all players in turn. In the Omaha poker game, the 2 players seated to the dealers left post the bet. The player to the left will post the "small blind", with the "big blind" being placed by the player directly left to the small blind. When the buttons of the dealer move, the blinds will also then move.
Flop: The initial 3 communal cards dealt
Turn: The 4th communal card dealt
River: The 5th, and last, communal card dealt
Puck/buck/button: A moving disc that signifies the dealer, and progresses in a clockwise rotation.
